Inspiration:
We always feel why do we need to give two forms of identity information to receive a message. There are many current scenarios where such requirement is a reality. Quite a few retailers (e.g. major office stationary superstore a negotiable electronics retail store ) ask for our phone number and email address. A major real estate website requires both. Also, we are bit skeptical giving our phone and email both because it increases significant risk of identity theft. Another reason is that we have faced the problem of telling our long email address over phone which takes quite a lot of time (long email, our accent). Email address is no longer a user friendly identifier to share due to shortage of preferred email addresses available on popular email provider services.
Our Target user:
Our Target users are all who want to
- Users who do not have an email address and like to receive emails (e.g. specially in emerging markets)
- Keep their identity secure.
- Save time by not giving both primary ids at the same time where not required.
- Send an email to a person of which they only have a number but not email address.
- Efficiently maintain multiple email addresses via dynamic associations.
We believe the above user segment represent a very large customer base where the limit is all users who have a phone number.
Features we are most proud of:
- An email address which is simple to use, easy to remember, and does not require a registration to begin.
- Works for all Australian mobile numbers already and we think we can scale it up soon to cover all phone numbers in the world.
- Possibility of scaling up with many rich features to allow full control of your email association with the world.
- Allowing landline users to receive emails and get connected.
