Inspiration

We all struggled to stay engaged in high school math, so we built something to make the process more fun and gamified.

What it does

MasterMath is a gamified high school math learning app that uses interactive challenges and rewards to keep students motivated.

How we built it

We built MasterMath using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.

Challenges we ran into

Designing an effective landing page layout that would attract and retain users.

Accomplishments we're proud of

Integrating the Gemini API for adaptive learning, creating an interactive dashboard with stats and achievements, and adding a streak system to encourage consistency.

What we learned

This was our first hackathon, and we learned a lot about teamwork, collaboration, and Git while working under pressure.

What's next for MasterMath

We plan to add more gamified elements and expand to cover IB and AP Math courses to reach a wider audience.
