Inspiration

This project was inspired by everyday changes that can make an impact on sustainability.

What it does

Our program lets users input a recipe URL and then it will substitute various unsustainable ingredients with more sustainable options without sacrificing protein. We suggest the appropriate amount of the alternative and also calculate the amount of carbon emissions saved.

How we built it

We built our project using Python and we used HTML and CSS to make a webpage for easy user interaction.

Challenges we ran into

It was challenging to come up with a way to convey a message through our project as well as use new skills that our team has never used before.
