Inspiration
Our inspiration stemmed from the desire to democratize access to healthcare information. Witnessing the disparities in healthcare access, we envisioned a solution that could empower individuals with accurate guidance and support, irrespective of their background or location.
What it does
Our system utilizes AI technology to provide users with symptom analysis and diagnosis guidance. Users can input their symptoms, and the AI engages with targeted questions to refine the diagnosis process. The system generates a comprehensive report, including potential causes, recommended treatments, associated risks, preventive measures, and even direct treatment suggestions. This empowers users to make informed decisions about their health.
How we built it
Our project was developed using a combination of cutting-edge technologies and robust project management tools. We leveraged OpenAI for advanced AI capabilities, Node.js and Next.js for backend and frontend development respectively, and Tailwind for streamlined UI design.
To ensure seamless data management, we integrated MySQL as our database solution. For deployment and hosting, we utilized Render, providing a reliable and scalable infrastructure for our application.
Throughout the development process, we relied on Jira for project management, enabling efficient task tracking, collaboration, and agile development methodologies.
Challenges we ran into
While developing MedBotAI, we faced challenges in refining the AI's precision and ensuring seamless user interaction. Our recommendation includes continuous AI training and user feedback integration for enhanced accuracy. Additionally, strategic partnerships with healthcare professionals can contribute to ongoing improvements.
