Accessing quality specialist doctors is often hindered by long wait times, different appointment dates, and geographical barriers, making it difficult for people worldwide to receive the best healthcare possible. MediCognize aims to bridge these gaps, ensuring accessible, quality healthcare for everyone, regardless of location. Additionally, we address the crucial issue of health data privacy and security by leveraging blockchain technology to maintain the integrity of patient data.
What It Does
MediCognize offers a platform where doctors and patients connect via video conference, enhanced by AI to bridge the physical gap. This system is backed by Verbwire API and MagicPilot.ai, ensuring a secure environment through IPFS and blockchain wallet verifications for data access. Our AI analyzes patient data, briefing doctors efficiently. Our video conference tool, powered by Azure, provides session summaries and task scheduling for ongoing care. For minor physical issues, patients can upload photos for AI-driven diagnostics. Furthermore, our platform supports doctors with an AI assistant for instant access to patient details, utilizing StarkNet technology for secure blockchain contracts and Auth0 for robust authentication.
How We Used Verbwire API, MagicPilot.ai, Auth0, and StarkNet
- Verbwire API and MagicPilot.ai: Essential for secure medical data transmission, enabling encrypted information sharing between healthcare providers and our platform, ensuring privacy and security compliance. As an AI platform specializing in building applications, MagicPilot.ai was instrumental in automating and optimizing the development of patient-centric features on our platform.
- Auth0: User Authentication: Implemented streamlined authentication processes, including secure login mechanisms for a safe user experience. Multifactor Authentication: Added an extra security layer through multifactor authentication, ensuring users are verified through multiple verification methods.
- StarkNet: Blockchain Contracts: Developed smart contracts for secure and transparent transactions and data access. Data Security: Ensured immutable record-keeping and secure, decentralized access to medical records.
Challenges We Ran Into
Training our neural network for the AI diagnostic tool involved significant challenges, particularly in gathering diverse datasets for accurate diagnostics. Implementing our video service and integrating Verbwire, StarkNet, and Auth0 presented steep learning curves due to their complex requirements for secure data handling and user authentication.
