Imagine a world where medication management is seamless, stress-free, and tailored to each patient. Introducing MedWheel—an innovative, intelligent medication dispenser designed to transform how patients and doctors handle prescriptions. Our system integrates precision hardware and intuitive software to ensure patients never miss a dose. At the core is our motorized, Arduino-powered medicine wheel that dispenses the right medication at the right time.

MedWheel represents the perfect blend of hardware and software, designed to create a seamless medication-taking experience. The hardware, powered by Arduino and programmed in C++, includes motors, sensors, switches, and a buzzer, all working harmoniously to ensure accurate medication dispensing. Our system is integrated with a comprehensive software solution: a secure website for doctors to assign medication schedules and monitor patient progress, and a custom-built mobile app that keeps patients on track with notifications and manual dispensing options. Together, the software and hardware communicate in real-time, automatically recognizing when to dispense medication and responding to user requests. MedWheel simplifies medication management, making adherence effortless while prioritizing user safety and convenience.

As the full stack developer for MedWheel, I built a secure and user-friendly platform for managing patient medication schedules. Using Firebase Authentication, I ensured safe access, allowing caregivers to log in and manage profiles. I developed features for adding, editing, and tracking patient-specific medications, with real-time data syncing via Firebase Firestore. The interface was built with React and Bootstrap, providing an intuitive experience for setting and updating medication schedules. My work supports the seamless integration between the software and Arduino hardware for precise medication dispensing.

I significantly contributed to the ideation and development of the MedWheel project. My role encompassed designing the hardware system and implementing its functionality using Arduino, ensuring seamless integration of motors, modules, and other components. Additionally, I was the artist and managed the visual appeal of the project.

I was the fullstack engineer that worked on the mobile app. I built the mobile app and managed the patient and medication databases (Firebase, etc..). I was also the color palette designer and created the logo.
