Inspiration

Our inspiration for this project was found while trying to explain our varying project ideas to our team members. We found it difficult to convince each other to work on one another's ideas. While discussing ideas, we realized that if we had an AI intermediary to help us explain our ideas to one another, we could more easily help others understand them, and sell them on the ideas we most want to build.

What it does

Our platform allows you to facilitate a better discussion about any topic. By first explaining providing what a conversation should be about, our platform creates a list of talking points for you to discuss, and then begins listening during the conversation to see if you have completed the talking points. Simultaneously our platform gives recommendations for how to better communicate during the call to assist a speaker in having a more productive discussion.

How we built it

We split our development into 4 main branches, frontend, backend, prompt engineering, and general help/pitching.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge we faced was creating a realtime transcript that sent information to llamaindex.

What's next for Middleman AI

We see this product as something the can be used to improve sales teams, interviewers, tutors, and more. We would like to continue building it to get to a point where we can use it in the real world to assist people with everyday conversations.
