Inspiration
We were inspired to make this project because we felt that students need to pay more attention to their mood and mental health.
What it does
Mind Journal has the user input their mood and the corresponding activities that made you feel that mood. It then organizes it into graphs.
How we built it
We used django for the framework, and chartjs for the graphs.
Challenges we ran into
We had trouble figuring out how to make the graphs.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of how we pushed through the challenge of making the graphs.
What we learned
We learned how to use django and chartjs, along with how to make an achievable plan and how to manage our time properly.
What's next for Mind Journal
In the future, we would like to include a login logout feature in Mind Journal so we can keep track of each individual user's information. We also would like to include a place where you can input text and users can write about their feelings. We also want to be able to recommend a certain activity to make the user's mood better if they are feeling down, this would be based on the information they inputted themselves. Easier access to earlier entries would also be a feature we want to add.
