Inspiration

Visualizing one of the main problems faced by us students to find the same question and the best answer was something we found as a problem and hence brainstormed and collectively made the platform of MIND QUENCH for students around the world to help each other with their homework.

What it does

Provides access to the Wolfram Alpha system in an easy-to-use website layout. Also, it keeps prior questions and answers from the current session.

How we built it

It was built using flask, python, AJAX, javascript, Wolfram Alpha API HTML, and CSS. The frontend was also built with Bootstrap, WordPress, and Adobe Dreamweaver.

Challenges we ran into

Creating the chatrooms proved to be too big of a challenge to accomplish on such short notice. Additionally, the implementation of the Wolfram Alpha API took longer than expected. Also, uploading pictures and unregulated chatrooms would be a major security concern with the lack of protection due to the limited development time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of how we were able to come together as a team since we had never met each other prior.

What we learned

We learned how to utilize the Wolfram Alpha API, connect Flask with Javascript and HTML using AJAX queries, and furthered our HTML and CSS knowledge with bootstrap.
