Mini-Assistant (Environment Section)

  Dirt Dog

Inspiration: Our inspiration came from our passion for cute animals and we came up with Dirt Dog and his friendly tips.

What it does: It provides environmental information and how to be more environmentally friendly.

How I built it: We used past experience in java to build our app using Java Applet.

Challenges I ran into: We became really sleepy, and needed lots of caffeine. At one point we felt like giving up.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of: We are proud of finishing the applet in the 12 hours. We never made an applet in such a short time before.

What I learned: We learned how to debug our mistakes and fix them in short amounts of time.

What's next for Mini-Assistant: Once we finish educating the users, we want to provide them incentives for doing the "Daily goals"
