Inspiration

Chat Challenge for the Hackathon MLH init 2022! I wanted to create a react application for the first time and this seemed like the perfect scenario.

What it does

Lets users talk amongst each other!

How we built it

Made it with react front-end with the react and two npm libraries 'react-chat-engine' and 'react-chatbot-kit'

Challenges we ran into

My react environment was quite strict on styling and I had dependencies issues , so I struggled with a lot of libraries. I sadly couldn't implement my bot component with my chat application the way I wanted it too

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I was able to make a function chat application and have the ground work of a chat bot!

What we learned

react is another beast, but its my first time making an application with it so happy I accomplished that goal. I will continue to hopefully improve this app after the competition too!

What's next for MLH Chat Application

Try to make my model work and use all the libraries correctly. Fix my react application issue because right now I feel like its on strict mode.
