Inspiration
- "cycle of life"
- other story-based games i.e. Life Is Strange, etc.
What it does
- user plays through a game with a story with the message that they only have one life, to spread awareness about their impact on others
How we built it
- HTML and CSS for the website
- aseprite for designing sprites
- unreal engine for game development
Challenges we ran into
- time constraints
- cannot insert game into a website, had to negate website
- cannot package to mac platforms
- lack of peripherals
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- good idea
- minimum viable product
- little characters
What we learned
- importance of laying out what is really needed to have a first iteration of the project
What's next for mnenophobia
- adding more dreams and scenario
- adding more characters and sprites
- adding music and sounds
