Inspiration
Nuclear throne had a huge influence on how we decided to approach this game.
What it does
MonsterBot starts with a menu then enters an opening cutscene followed by two level of gameplay and finally a closing cutscene.
How we built it
We relied primarily on the Unity engine for development, Gimp for artwork, and Github for version control.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into some time issues and realized that the scale of our project may have been slightly too ambitious. Due to this, we were unable to implement all the features we wanted.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The game feels like a real video game. Given a little more time, we believe that this could be a very fun game to play for anyone.
What we learned
We learned how to delegate tasks and work on a software-based project in a team.
What's next for Monster Robot
We will continue development.
