Inspiration
The inspiration was to mix chase gameplay with simple hiding mechanics in a fun kitchen setting
What it does
You play as a mouse inside a kitchen, trying to escape the chef and reach the cheese to win.
The mouse can hide behind kitchen tools and objects to avoid being spotted.
The challenge comes from choosing the right moment to move, hide, or make a run for the cheese
How we built it
The game was built using a mix of 3D environments and animated characters.
I focused on level layout, hiding mechanics, simple controls, and clear visual feedback
Core gameplay logic—movement, hiding, detection, and win/lose states—is handled through centralized scripts
Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges was making the hiding mechanic feel fair and intuitive.
Another challenge was designing the kitchen space so it feels playful, readable, and fun rather than overwhelming
