Global Disaster Monitoring System In a world increasingly affected by natural disasters—earthquakes, wildfires, floods, and storms—speed and coordination save lives. Yet, fragmented data, slow communication, and disconnected systems often delay response efforts when every second counts.
This project began with a single question: “What if we could see and understand global disasters as they happen—and respond intelligently?”
That vision led to the creation of the Global Disaster Monitoring System—a unified, AI-powered platform that combines real-time data, advanced visualization, and automated response tools to support emergency management worldwide.
🔹 We built a Cesium-powered 3D globe that displays live disaster markers from trusted sources like USGS, NASA, and OpenWeatherMap. 🔹 We integrated Google Gemini AI to assess risk, interpret sound anomalies, and recommend action. 🔹 We added a sound monitoring system, capable of detecting unusual patterns in acoustic data. 🔹 We developed a multi-agent supply chain module, using CrewAI to plan and coordinate relief delivery in real time. 🔹 We ensured cross-platform support, with a native iOS app for on-the-ground responders, and a robust ML pipeline with full observability for data scientists.
This isn’t just a monitoring tool—it’s a living system that sees, thinks, and acts. Whether it's alerting first responders to a magnitude 6.5 quake or coordinating supply drops to flood victims, the platform turns data into life-saving decisions.
Today, it stands as a blueprint for the future of disaster management: intelligent, integrated, and actionable.
