Inspiration
68% of teens are afraid to talk to anyone about their period.
Our Solution
Ms. H provides young ladies between the age of 9 to 16 with the information they need to care for themselves during their monthly cycle. We provide answers to their most burning questions. Ms. H is created for teen girls by teen girls.
Challenges
Some challenges I ran into was getting the images and text to show accurately and presentable because the way it looked on the computer was not the same as it looked on the tablet. I addressed this problem by repeatedly changing the font and font size.
Next Steps
We could improve our app by adding certain features such as the calendar (a tracker), more facts, questions+answers, and a feature where they can talk to a nurse or professional if they have any further questions.
Lessons Learned
The most important thing I learned that I can’t do everything by myself, and everything needs improving no matter how many opinions you get.
