Inspiration

Public gyms are often far too crowded and lack privacy and convenience, presenting a barrier for many gym new-comers. We decided to make the My Workouts Skill to give people the power of a personal trainer in-home to solve this issue!

What it does

Our Amazon Alexa My Workouts Skill turns Alexa into your very own personal trainer! Our skill contains over 7 different voice-guided unique workout activities that make up both regular and intense premium workouts.

How we built it

Used Amazon Alexa's Skill developer sdk and an AWS hosted lambda function for the backend.

Getting the break timings of different workout activities right.
