Domain Name

The domain name we choose as a group is newyearnewpanda.space Something fun to brighten up 2021!

Inspiration

We created this project due to many lives being lost due to the traditional phone call you have to make during emergency situations! Now all of this is possible with a click of a button which saves time as-well as lives!

What it does

Our program decreases the time it takes for you to contact hospitals when you are in danger. GPS is used to pin down where you are and send first responders to your location while auto detecting the nearest hospital to you!

How we built it

We used HTML and CSS for the front end of our site/program. We utilized PHP, Mysql, Jquery, Google Cloud and Google Spreadsheets.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into multiple challenges along the way but one of the main challenges was syncing Mysql's database with the Google Cloud Server. Also we had to cut the intro and outro due to a time limit!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

All the developers of this project were able to combine their different fields of expertise and overcome the many challenges of combining all of their work together!

What we learned

We learned a lot about using Google cloud to store information and locating a person using GPS functionalities.

What's next for NaviHelp

We would love to expand the website and implement more features to better connect users to hospitals and more first responders!
