Inspiration

Nebuluv was conceptualized to deliver a unique and engaging user experience that blends the familiarity of personality quizzes with an innovative, space-themed twist. Our team was driven by a desire to infuse fun into the user journey while maintaining an element of surprise and discovery at the end of the quiz.

What it does

The website begins on a streamlined home page where users can launch their personalized quiz experience by clicking the start button. As the quiz progresses, users encounter a series of thoughtfully designed questions that culminate in the revelation of a personalized matching planet. At the final stage, users are introduced to a quirky, tailor-made alien character that aligns with their unique interests.

How we built it

We developed Nebuluv using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build a responsive and interactive interface. Our iterative process was facilitated by a live server environment, and the project was deployed using GitHub Pages, ensuring easy access and continuous updates throughout development.

Challenges we ran into

  • Design: We focused on creating a layout where each element functioned seamlessly without interfering with others.
  • Debugging: We overcame merge conflicts, syntax errors, and issues related to smooth transitions between quiz phases and questions.
  • Team Coordination: Balancing diverse ideas and code contributions was essential to maintain a unified vision throughout the project.

What's next for Nebuluv

We plan to expand Nebuluv by introducing additional personality types linked to a broader array of planets and incorporating a wider variety of quirky aliens. These enhancements aim to further enrich the interactive and personalized user experience.
