About the Project
Inspiration
Inspired by the rising integration of technology and its mental health risks, we aimed to address cyberpsychosis, a condition from excessive neural interfacing.
What We Learned
- Neural Interfaces: Their function and impact on the brain.
- Mental Health: Importance in tech contexts.
- AI and Data Analysis: Brainwave pattern analysis and real-time feedback.
- App Development: Creating a user-friendly interface with MIT App Inventor.
- 3D Modeling: Designing the NeuroGuard device.
How We Built Our Project
- Research: Studied cyberpsychosis, neural interfaces, and existing solutions.
- Design and Development:
- Website: Documented Navi Mumbai and the solution.
- Design: Created a logo, style guide, and promotional materials.
- App Interface: Developed with MIT App Inventor.
- Implementation:
- NeuroGuard Device: Real-time monitoring, adaptive feedback, therapeutic interventions, and data analytics.
- 3D Modeling: Visualized the device.
Challenges Faced
- Neural Interface Complexity: Technical challenges in understanding and implementation.
- Data Analysis: Developing accurate AI algorithms.
- Mental Health Safety: Ensuring effective and safe interventions.
- Technical Integration: Seamless compatibility with existing implants.
- User Experience: Designing a functional and intuitive app interface.
Despite the challenges, we developed NeuroGuard, enhancing our technical skills and understanding of technology's impact on mental health.
