Inspiration

In the city of Navi Mumbai in 3142, the integration of cybernetic enhancements has become the norm, offering limitless possibilities. However, with these advancements comes the pervasive threat of cyberpsychosis, where individuals lose their grip on reality due to excessive cybernetic augmentation. Inspired by the need to protect mental health in this high-tech era, we created NeuroShield to safeguard the neural integrity of the city's inhabitants.

What it does

NeuroShield is an advanced neural interface device designed to manage and prevent cyberpsychosis. It continuously monitors neural activity, regulates neurotransmitter levels, provides real-time feedback, and offers an emergency override feature to ensure users remain grounded in reality. With customizable settings and a focus on data privacy and security, NeuroShield is the ultimate solution for maintaining mental stability in a world of cybernetic enhancements. We also created a website which features a home page, landmarks in Navi Mumbai, our solution, Pramesh Chitrakar profile, and a 3D Model section which we did not get to incorporate because our file was too large for GitHub.

How we built it

The project involved extensive research in neuroscience, cybersecurity, and human-computer interaction. We created a comprehensive style guide, designed promotional materials, and developed a fully functional website on GitHub Pages to document and showcase the project. We used Blender to create the 3D model. Used html, css, react, GitHub, and java to create the website. Used Movavi software to create our trailer for NeuroShield.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating various components and maintaining a flow between them required a lot of attention to detail. Additionally, creating a visually appealing and user-friendly interface that effectively communicated the complex functionalities of NeuroShield was a significant challenge as it difficult to do on GitHub. Also after we created our 3D model in Blender, we realized that we could not use it on our website through GitHub pages as it does not allow for files more than 25 MB. However, we still provided a link to our 3D model in case anyone is interested.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of successfully developing a prototype of NeuroShield that addresses the critical issue of cyberpsychosis. Our website effectively documents the project and showcases our solution, while our promotional materials and style guide reinforce our brand. Overcoming technical challenges and working together effectively to finish the task was also a big achievement for us.

What we learned

Through this project, we gained valuable insights into the complexities of neural interfaces and the importance of cybersecurity in protecting mental health. We learned how to effectively collaborate as a team, leveraging each member's strengths to overcome challenges. The experience also enhanced our skills in web development, graphic design, and 3D modeling, providing a well-rounded understanding of creating a comprehensive solution from concept to execution.

What's next for NeuroShield

The next step for NeuroShield is to refine and enhance the solution based on user feedback and further testing. We plan to explore partnerships with neuroscience and cybersecurity experts to improve the accuracy and reliability of the system. Expanding the functionality to include more personalized settings and integrations with other cybernetic devices is also on the horizon. We will also try to get our own domain so that we can effectively represent our 3D model for everyone to see. Ultimately, we aim to make NeuroShield a widely adopted solution for safeguarding mental health in an increasingly cybernetic world of Navi Mumbai in 3142.
