Inspiration
Walking home at night can be scary, especially in an unfamiliar neighborhood. We wanted to create an app that would let you know what the safest route to your destination is.
What it does
Night Light aggregates police data with community feedback to get you home safe.
How we built it
We built our app in Android Studio and used the Google Maps and SODA APIs to display the data.
What's next for Night Light
Giving users the ability to share their location with friends/family and added help options.
