Inspiration

The idea for NoBrainstorm came from our own experiences of not being able to reach a conclusive idea about what to build for this hackathon. The disorganized inputs from all of us made discussing a single point quite difficult, and hence we unanimously decided to build a platform that facilitates brainstorming with AI at its core to help with those tough but much-needed decisions.

What it does

Nobrainstorm is an online whiteboard enhanced by AI analysis and automation, designed to revolutionize how one brainstorms and develops ideas. Our product addresses the needs we often lack during brainstorming, such as a factually backed data source like a graph or a detailed plan with a to-do list.

How we built it

Our application is build around:

  • Next JS with Tailwind
  • Tldraw backend for rendering
  • OpenAI for AI analysis and explanation

Challenges we ran into

The most difficult challenge we ran into was the lack of documentation for a core package we used(Tldraw). We also had a hard time figuring out on how to query DALL-E with a blob.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to push out almost all of the features we planned to within less than a day(because of the initial delay in deciding the project). We are also quite proud of our creative design which includes our UI, logo, and the presentation video.

What's next for nobrainstorm

We plan to add features such as:

  1. Venn diagram for a more easier analysis.
  2. Multiple user collaboration.
  3. Text to Speech as an input.
