Inspiration

I realized I always buy food and forgot the fact that I brought it. So I create an app to keep track of all my food so that I could finish all of them before they are expired.

What it does

It keeps track of all the food you bought and notify you when your food is going to expire soon.

How I built it

I build it with Android Studio with Firebase.

Challenges I ran into

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The application works close to I expected. I am able to scan expiry date using OCR.

What I learned

It is the first time I use firebase and I learnt how to integrate android application with firebase.

What's next for NoExpiry

Hopefully, there will be a search bar to search you items and notification to notify user more info about their food.
