Inspiration

Our inspiration was to create a simultion that would be fun with practical aplications.

What it does

First you select your ship parts to maximize the score which is your total efficiency rating. Then you travel through a field of debris and asteroids to Mars where you will either fail or reach Mars.

How I built it

We split into two scenes with one focused on the 2d ship building and the other focused on the 3d debris field flying simultion.

Challenges I ran into

importing our custom sounds that we recorded caused many troubles. Additionally the score you are given at your completion would not stop increasing ruining the point of a score.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Importing sound and the graphics of the 3d space field which are top notch gaurenteed.

What I learned

Some learned how to use unity and github, and some learned how to make sounds and sprites. Also we learned how to manage our time effiencly and to work well under pressure.

What's next for Space COPS

More resource management systems(food, water, fuel, etc.), hopefully colonization of Mars.
