Our project aims to shorten the gap between introduction and comprehension with ML based text compression and summarization for neurodivergent learners.

Inspiration

This idea sprung from the realization that students are constantly burnt out and tired. They are usually not in the proper headspace to consume and digest information from a thick text book. It dawned on us that not everything processes and learn Information the same way.

It always seems that the hardest part of hackathons are then last couple hours of the event. Though we did not finish an MVP we where proud of constant communication collaboration within the team.

What we learned

The biggest lesson learned in this project had to be learning how to be more flexible. Not only being flexible with how you approach a project but what role and skills you can offer. All of our members were put in situations where they had to develop and learn new skills.
