Enter Nurse Joy!

What it does

Nurse Joy responds to your sadness or need for love with soft loving pets, while lighting up your world!

How we built it

We created an Alexa skill that, upon certain key words, sent data to an IoT prototyping platform. We then programmed the Arduino to receive the request through the platform and turn the attached hand.

Learning how to create an Alexa skill, learning to use IoT, attaching LEDs to the hand
