OCCT Bus Efficiency

Inspiration

At some points last semester, OCCT had to turn away students because the bus was too crowded

What it does

Takes the scan data for the DCL inbound and WS outbound buses for the month of October, 2018 and determines when the most activity was

How we built it

We took all of the Excel sheets, cleaned them, and ran some sqlite scripts on them

Challenges we ran into

It took us a while to get sqlite working (we went with sqlite studio in the end). sqlite is also lacking some commands that sql has so we had to get creative

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Cleaning up the data into a usable form

What we learned

How to use sqlite and interpret data in a way that was useful to us (the database we took from had way more information than we needed).

Combining the columns together so it's easier to read
