Inspiration Opioids constitute 75% of drug overdose fatalities in the United States. The prevalence is particularly significant in California, one of the most populous states, where the second most leading cause of death is drug overdose, with opioids contributing to 88% of such cases.

What it does

In an overdose situation, call 911 and then perform a quick 3-minute detection process: counting breaths, measuring heartbeat, and observing pupil size.

How we built it

We used React Native, Google Maps API, and utilized many features like camera.

Challenges we ran into

There were many challenges that we faces during the process that many us pivot to different ideas in order to accommodate this. We went from building a wearable app to trying to use the phone sensors, to trying to setup a backend and create a full Android based application.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we are able to successfully connect up google maps API, and put together the whole React Native app.
