Inspiration

College students are the next generation of students that are going to be impacting climate change. We wanted to make an app that incentivized college students to make a positive impact in the world.

What it does

Converts the amount of car miles driven to the equivalent CO2 emissions. Provides challenges to offset these recorded CO2 emissions. For example, recycling a plastic water bottle. Students receive points for completing challenges and are incentivized by the ability to donate to non-profits or increase their personal knowledge.

How we built it

Prototyping in Figma.

Challenges we ran into

Ability to use Figma as first-time users. Ability to make feasible ui/ux design decisions that the entire team agreed upon.

Presenting clean ui/ux wireframes for our app as first time users of a new platform we learned called Figma.
