Inspiration
The inspiration ignited when I thought about problems people have in their daily lives, one of the biggest ones being following diets. This app allows people to keep track of diets and budgets, while also allowing user preference.
What it does
The program asks for types of food people ask for. The program reads a txt file (which contains a test menu from Taco Bell) and creates items with different types, allowing to then navigate and optimize to different and tangible orders the user makes
How we built it
Headers are usually food types, and the txt file allows to transfer data easily.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges I ran into were transferring the data from the txt file to the code
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Accomplishments I am proud of are that I created a code which allows to optimize calories for users
What we learned
I learned that this is just an exoskeleton for the app, and has so many more things I can add on to.
What's next for Optimizer
- Transferring the conceptual idea to a website/app
- Adding more features
- Expanding to more than just food items
