The inspiration behind OryxCargoBot stems from the need to revolutionize cargo services by leveraging AI technology. The goal is to enhance customer engagement, streamline the booking process, and provide instant solutions to common queries, ultimately optimizing the logistics industry.

What it does

OryxCargoBot is an AI-powered chatbot designed to engage with walk-in customers seeking cargo services. It intelligently gathers shipment details, provides instant quotes, answers customer queries, facilitates booking, and integrates with payment gateways for seamless transactions. The bot also automates the forwarding of shipment details and documentation to the operations team for efficient fulfillment.

How we built it

We built OryxCargoBot using state-of-the-art natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning technologies. The backend is developed in Node.js and Express, utilizing Dialogflow for conversation flow. We use QR Cargo Booking API The entire system is hosted on a scalable cloud infrastructure for reliability and performance.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges included fine-tuning the chatbot's NLP model to accurately understand and respond to user queries. Integrating with various payment gateways while ensuring security posed another challenge. Additionally, synchronizing real-time data between the chatbot and operations team required careful consideration.
