MDL Man was kidnapped! So, our design would help him to escape. We wanted to create a tool that could help him not just escape, but also help him with his everyday heroic activities. It is a hero-eye glass with built-in retractable knife blades and a strong light source, built using AutoDesk Inventor and 3D printing our prototype. While coming up with this project, we came into several design bumps, like how we would attach the light on the glasses and ensure that the glasses can move. But, these are the accomplishments we are most proud of, especially the hinges for moving the glasses. It ensures that the prototype is very similar to the actual product. We learned a lot about designing things a bit quicker, especially since we didn't have a week or more to work on it, and had to do many different stages of the design process in about 24 hours. What's next for Owl Vision would be to come up with a different way to put on the lights, since there's a way to take off the lights, but it's not very effective.
