PakSpace

Inspiration

Almost everyday, we face difficulties in the city due to many issues. One of them is environment. There isn't any solution for civilians where these problems are addressed and solved.

What it does

PakSpace aims to solve the problems by taking help from the NGOs. The main purpose of this application is to digitise the operations by NGOs. The application will enable civilians to upload issues in their area. Those issues will be reported to the NGOs / authorities. From there on, the authorities have the ability to get to the bottom of the issue and resolve it. Once resolved, the issue will be marked completed and the proof of work will be uploaded as well.

How we built it

We build the application using a mobile development framework called 'React-Native'. The backend is supported by Django framework.

Challenges we ran into

There were many new things we tried within this application, including Web Sockets. When implementing we had a learning curve which took our time. However, we got a nice feature out of it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Since issues can be reported real time and the authorities are reported accordingly, it's a very responsive application that can handle real-time data processing.
