Inspiration

Climate & sustainability information is right now buried underneath teams of data scientists and consultants. We want to make sustainability accounting and reporting accessible to small organizations - no in-house sustainability expertise, external consultants or prior experience required. We focus first on the clothing & fashion industry, which accounts for 10% of global emissions.

What it does

If you give us 15 minutes, we'll calculate your Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions (according to GHG protocol) and generate a report that you can make available on your website for customers and investors to see what you’re doing.

Challenges

We had larger goals for Scope 1 - 3 calculations that we couldn't quite port to the site. We hoped to lean more on the generative engine for recommendations as well.

What's next for Peachy

We will focus on tailoring recommendations for companies to reduce their emissions, based on the information they provide. We will also allow companies to give us a link to their website, then automatically import the company information and tailor the forms to focus on information we couldn't scrape from them. We could automatically ingest billing records to figure out the emissions and footprint, too.
