We are all musicians frustrated by existing music practice tools available online

What it does

Provide a combined tool for practicing your timing and speed

How I built it

Initially we built a metronome from scratch, delivering between 20 to 330 BPM. We used the metronome to build a game which improves your speed by using the microphone to listen to drum beats and compare them to the increasing internal tempo.

Challenges I ran into

Differentiating between background noise and drum beats. We spent many hours trying to use machine learning for this purpose.
