All high school students in the United States have to take math courses through at least Algebra II and because of this many students end up taking higher math from Pre-calculus to multivariable calculus. Additionally, for most high school students in the United States at least three science courses have to be completed in their high school career and because of this many high school students end up taking at least one physics course in their high school career. Both upper level math courses and physics courses hold a stigma of being some of the most difficult courses in high school and it would be remiss to not acknowledge the fact that many kids do in fact struggle with these courses. At the same time these courses are some of the most important classes students will take in high school if they decide to choose career paths in many STEM fields. Many students struggle both with understanding the complex equations employed in these courses as well as get caught up in the lengthy processes of solving these equations even after they have already mastered the concepts behind them as they can take large amounts of time to complete. This app provides a streamlined, easy to access way to gain greater knowledge into many of the equations that the aforementioned students struggle with as well as providing the students who already understand the concepts behind the equations with a fast and efficient way to complete these equations when they are running short on time. By being multi-tiered, the app simultaneously makes sure that kids are able to perform and understand equations while also making it unnecessary for them to devote large amounts of time to material they already understand. It is important for the students to prove an understanding of the equations as the theoretical piece of equations is often built upon in higher math and it is important for students to understand why what the are doing makes sense and works.
