PickBins

It was hard to keep track of when garbage collection comes around Kathmandu city and many other places in Nepal, so to solve that problem we tried to build this online channel to communicate timings and other data. We built web application using reactstrap, nodejs, and mongodb. There were many challenges ranging from integration of API to finding right frontend tag to create easy user Interface. Most difficult task was to build the model and implement it using various api.

I worked on setting up front-end and making communication with backend. Tested functionality and accuracy of each unit of software. Laying out the prototype and design was an important role that I get to carry out for the project.

My focus was on frontend design using React Js and worked on creating an optimized pathfinding algorithm with the help of google distance matrix API.

I’ve had a couple of internships and will graduate in 2020. I’m interning as a Web Developer in Atomic Dev, INC. I’m looking for a job.
I worked on back-end setting up server with Express. I used Mongoose ODM to model database. I created route handlers for user registration, user login/logout. I worked on REST API for handling data between client-server. I used JWT for authenticating user. I worked on implementing Google Distance Matrix API and optimized the data from the API.
