Inspiration

  • The pitching workshops held by the CS club

What it does

  • turns your rough ideas and brainstorming notes into a presentable pitch deck
  • it takes into account the material learned in the workshops to generate and organize the content

How we built it

  • we built it using React and Tailwind for frontend, OpenAI API to generate content, Google Slides API to organize them into slides.

Challenges we ran into

  • connecting the frontend and the backend
  • making the AI generated content fit nicely within the layouts
  • getting familiar with the Google Slides API

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • getting the generated pdf to display
  • all the minty puns

What we learned

  • working under the time pressure
  • some of the tech stack was new

What's next for PitchMint

  • better graphics for slides
  • theme customization
  • more deliberation in some of the generation choices
