Inspiration
Inspired by the precision of Williams Racing pit crews, we wanted to eliminate the manual friction that kills time during P1 outages. We set out to prove that with Atlassian Ecosystem with Rovo Dev AI doesn't just write code—it can become an incident-aware guardian that orchestrates a recovery mission in seconds.
What it does
PitStopX automates the entire incident lifecycle, from triggering cinematic Confluence War Rooms in under 15 seconds to enhancing Rovo Dev with real-world incident context. It bridges the gap between Jira alerts and Bitbucket hotfixes, ensuring AI agents understand the urgency and risk of the code they are reviewing.
How we built it
The solution is built natively on Atlassian Forge, utilizing Jira webhooks for detection and Confluence/Bitbucket APIs for orchestration. We extensively used google gemini and also aws kiro for some modules.
Challenges we ran into
- Rovo agent(UI ones) not available for personal email id accounts . We wanted to use Rovo agents on UI but they were not allowed on gmail id . so we switched to Rovo Dev usage and got access
- Rovo dev takes up 2-5 mins for PR reviews which is something Atlassian can improve in coming days.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I have been using JIRA , confluence for several years but linking everything together and then adding AI capabilities really made me happy. I put in a lot of effort on the demo video as well .
What we learned
I learned about Rovo dev and its capabilities.
What's next for PitstopX
I think by leveraging full rovo dev capabilities, PitstopX can become a powerful addition for every team using Atlassian ecosystem
