Inspiration
First of all, we had no idea what to do, we were a bit lost with the challenges, since there are many to choose from and all so different and challenging, but in the end we ended up deciding to make our interpretation of the Capchase task, where it was talked about as a kind of drawing race. Then we've started, in a race against the clock, draw the drawing that they give us, in the quickest and most exact way possible.
What it does
Image replication, with a very short time of 15 seconds, forcing the player to draw fast and precise. Seems easy, but costs a lot (at least in the beginning).
How we built it
We have done it using Python, which we have been learning by programming, since we never used it before.
Challenges we ran into
Since it was a language that we do not know, perhaps the biggest challenge was starting from almost 0 to learn, including its ecosystem. And with the part of the graphical interface, we had some other problem, especially with the labels and positioning.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We lofty of the result and of being able to finish the demo, even without knowing python beforehand.
What we learned
Python and more exactly the priceless pip, package, manager.
What's next for PIXEL-RUN
Buttons! Docs! And probably better sizing of the window, plus colors?, hence it greatly affects the view of the drawn "pixels". But before hand, a local live ranking system.
