PlayNext

While planning ideas for projects that pertained to different companies' challenge prompts, the topic of Toyota's challenge prompt came up. We specifically were thinking about what we could do that would improve the user's in-cabin experience while driving and the topic of Spotify came up. One major flaw that came up from that conversation was Spotify's "poor" implementation of recommending new songs for users to discover or recommending songs to play after a user's queue or playlist ended. This is why we developed PlayNext, an application that will use Spotify's API to automatically add songs to a user's queue after they fill out our questionnaire and log into our generative tool with their Spotify accounts. Once the queue is created, all the user has to do is press play and let us do the rest.
