I have always enjoyed remote controlled vehicles and 3D modelling.
This project attempts to research and prototype a cheap and effective way for anyone on a low budget to create the vehicle of their dreams and have it sailing around within a few hours.
This is targeted toward anyone who enjoys RC vehicles but finds it difficult to find one that suits their needs or just wants one that is more personal. A prefab CAD model would be available that contains the necessary mounting points for the mechanical parts of the boat that the users could build off of. This could be provided via an online service or in conjunction with an RC retailer. If the user does not have access to a 3D printer they can send the design and have it printed for them and sent back.
You can make any water craft you wish.
