Inspiration current online situation
Throughout the years, many techniques to evaluate a student's "worth" have been created. However, these evaluation techniques are not always perfect, especially in an online classes context. Therefore, we wanted to tackle this problem by offering a tool that would allow for a fair evaluation without resulting in too much effort from the teacher. Problematiq is a program that allows you to create on demand unique problems related to more conceptually heavy topics such has physics and chemistry. Contrarily to a teacher choosing problem from a problem bank to create their one version exam or assignment, with Problematiq the teacher selects the different problem types they want and a multitude of unique evaluations are created from these.
What it does
The "Hack" is based on the idea of creating a fair randomized evaluating tool. It currently has 1 problem has an example, but there way it is built allows us to further increase the variables and the different problems.
How we built it
The hack consist in a front end written in html for the GUI, and the backend was done using JAVA.
