About the project
ProDev Portfolio is a personal developer portfolio website designed to showcase projects, skills, and achievements in a clean, modern, and interactive way. The project was inspired by the need for developers to have a professional, visually appealing, and easy-to-navigate portfolio that can impress recruiters and collaborators alike.

Inspiration

As a developer, I noticed many portfolios lacked interactivity or clear presentation of skills and projects. I wanted to create a platform that not only highlights my work but also demonstrates my design and front-end development skills. Seeing other developers get noticed for creative, well-structured portfolios motivated me to build this.

What it does

ProDev Portfolio allows users (recruiters, peers, or collaborators) to explore:

  • Featured projects with descriptions, tech stack, and tags
  • Skills and proficiency levels
  • Contact and social links
  • A sleek responsive design that works on all devices The website also includes subtle animations, dark/light theme toggles, and interactive UI elements to enhance the user experience.

How we built it

The project was built using:

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript – For layout, design, and interactivity
  • CSS Variables & Grid/Flexbox – For responsive, modern layouts
  • GitHub Pages – For easy hosting and deployment
  • Animations & Transitions – For smooth UX I followed a mobile-first approach and ensured accessibility and performance optimizations were considered.

Challenges we ran into

  • Making the theme toggle work seamlessly across all components
  • Ensuring responsiveness on all screen sizes without breaking design
  • Optimizing load times while using gradient backgrounds, animations, and images

Accomplishments that we're proud of
