Inspiration
It's often that we're working at home in solitude and cant find the motivation to keep going. ShareFocus is a (web) app that solves this problem by giving you gamified rewards for completing tasks and lets you view other likeminded people doing similar tasks in real time!
What it does
The app tracks how long you've been doing a task. Doing a task for a set interval without q break improves your stats ( studying history for an hour gives you 4 points towards your INT (intellect) stat, for example). Furthermore, you can see in real-time the progress of other people in community doing similar tasks. By seeing other like-minded people focus in real time, you'll be filled with motivation to keep going!
How we built it
The webapp was built in Angular, NodeJS and MongoDB.
What's next for ShareFocus
A social media like expansion that lets you befriend people and plan joint work sessions in advance would be the next step for ShareFocus.
