We are from Rutgers Camden and we have a very similar food insecurity problem as Rowan. Not only this but we also have a very large homeless population who doesn't know where their next meal is going to come from. We've also noticed that our dining hall and many other restaurants create a lot of food waste. We wanted to try and combat both issues but turning one mans problem into another mans solution. Together we leveraged our skills in front end an back end to create a web app that would allow restaurants to post when they are able to give away their food waste so that people who are in need can pick it up for their "next meal".
