This project is built on the idea that collaboration and teamwork are essential for success in programming. It is a platform that connects programmers with others who share their skills , interests.

Inspiration

  • I always found it difficult to find someone who shares same interest in programming as me, So I thought of building this site.

What it does

  • It helps programmers find other programmers, So they can collaborate to build something great.

How I built it

  • I build it using PHP as backend language, HTML and CSS as frontend . I also used Courier to send email notification to users.

Challenges we ran into

  • I don't have any web development background , That lack of knowledge stopped me from making my PHP code less maintainable. It also affected my website design.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • This is my first project related to web development. I am proud of that i was able to bring my vision into reality

What we learned

  • First thing i learned about is how to center a div :) and then working with files and Courier API.

What's next for ProgrammerBuddy

  • I want to make my code more maintainable.
  • Make website look modern or beautiful.
  • Fix some security vulnerabilities.
  • Add RDBMS.
  • Login and Sign up features.
