Inspiration
The AMIGO (Advanced Medical Intelligence for Guiding Orphan Medicine) Project tasked us in using federated learning on their Knowledge Graphs to get insights on rare diseases.
Task A aimed at identifying healthy and sick patients while Task B aimed at finding the first letter of ICD-10 codes for diagnosed patients.
Challenges we ran into
The infrastructure is still in development which meant slow development cycles and a lot of debugging. We had little knowledge on GNNs.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have a first working concept that can be greatly improved in little time.
What's next for Project AMIGO
We hope the project gets the funding it needs to progress!
