After seeing the alarming numbers of water contamination and other issues due to improper chemical disposal by factories, I realised that it is important to raise awareness on this topic as it is not receiving the attention it needs to. Most environmental agencies focus on raising awareness on air pollution and reducing the emissions of hydrocarbons and other greenhouse gases. However, not many of them focus on reducing the effects of chemical contamination or spreading awareness on it.

This was built on PyGame which is a set of Python modules designed for making games. Since this is relatively not a game that requires high-end graphics or processing PyGame is suitable for it. Despite running into some problems I managed to debug them using StackOverflow and other resources. Personally, I feel that I was really creative with how I generalised a lot of code. For example, when loading the images I use a for loop and string formatting instead of loading them one by one which has been done by many developers online

I actually learnt quite bit while doing this project. My proficiency in PyGame has clearly improved as well as my python skills in general.

I hope to improve my jumping function as it is not up to the mark as of now due to the presence of gravity but the lack of gravitational acceleration. I also plan to use a raspberry pi to host this game.

This idea can be extended to other environmental related problems such as plastic pollution and food waste. Different levels can be themed differently to bring across different messages. This would be a great way to raise awareness as games are appealing to many age groups and different nationalities.
